Think chunky knits and warm scarves, paired with steaming mugs and fresh-out-the-oven pastries. 🤌
When I started Flourish and Fulfilled, I started drinking hot chocolate before bed during journaling. Each morning, the twins will snuggle up and have a hot choccy. It is a staple in our house, everyday. 😍
I find that hot chocolate is the most wholesome way to bring the family together and also relax and unwind at night. This delicious sugar free hot choccy is a nutritious option for the whole family.
This hug in a mug has been developed with all-natural ingredients, no artificial flavours or sugars. 🤌
Want to learn to journal with your warm mug of goodness and truely unlock those sabotaging habits?

Journaling often gets overcomplicated, but it can be a simple and powerful tool for self-discovery. You can journal about anything and everything, and it doesn’t have to make sense to anyone but you. My biggest piece of advice is to use a certain journal or book and keep it sacred for you, only. This will allow the truth in your unconscious to come through. ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE IN YOUR BOREDOM. 🫣
We often distract ourselves with books, podcasts, or busy tasks to avoid boredom. However, boredom is the foundation of creativity, allowing your mind to wander and your creative juices to flow.
When we’re busy, we avoid the discomfort of boredom. But being conscious—truly aware and intentional—is essential for meaningful living. Stop running from yourself; let the dust settle and embrace boredom. It’s in these quiet moments that you can discover who you truly are.
Encourage this in your children too. When they say, “I’m bored,” smile and let them be. Boredom can foster creativity and self-awareness.
Consciously create time to be bored. This deliberate practice can lead to peace, creativity, and a deeper understanding of yourself. When was the last time you were truly bored? 🤔

The Benefits of Journaling are honestly endless, including:
Improves Self-Awareness: Identifies limiting beliefs and patterns in behaviour.
Stop High Dreaming: Grounds you in reality.
Reduces Stress: Clears mental clutter.
Solves Problems: Helps you navigate confusion and find solutions.
Deeper Connection with Others: As we are able to reflect, we can grow within a relationship

When you are starting to bring your unconscious thoughts to your awareness:
Brain Dump: Write down all your thoughts and to-do lists.
Gratitude: Note what you’re grateful for and where your mind is wandering.
Simple Doodles: Sketch your environment, noting smells, feelings, and perceptions.
Body Awareness: Describe physical sensations (e.g., tingling in arms, heaviness in chest).
Stress Management: Reflect on how you handle stress (e.g., breathing, working, distracting).
Thoughts: Observe the nature of your thoughts (anxious, positive, negative).
Limiting Beliefs: Identify any limiting beliefs you held today (e.g., “I won’t finish my workout”).
Challenges and Opportunities: Describe today’s greatest challenge and how you approached it.

Be honest with yourself and regularly check in with your emotions to understand how you’re feeling and why. This practice helps you stay in tune with your inner world and navigate your emotions more effectively.

Journaling is a powerful tool for self-discovery, creativity, and emotional well-being. By allowing yourself to be bored and writing without judgement, you can uncover deep insights and foster a more conscious and intentional life. Start journaling today and see how it transforms your understanding of yourself and your world.
