The Power Of Manifesting

Every one of us has a hope, dream, or desire. But for some, that’s all they remain as - something unattainable and out of reach. What if I tell you that whatever it is you truly want really can be yours? How, you ask? Though the power of manifesting. Manifestation isn’t just a wellness buzzword floating around, it’s a powerful practice stemming from the Law of Attraction - a philosophy based on ‘like attracts like’. For example, positive thoughts bring positive results into a person's life, while negative thoughts bring negative outcomes. The universe creates and provides for you that which your thoughts are focused on.

What is manifestation?

Manifestation is being aware that your thoughts attract things and harnessing that power purposefully. Manifesting is a practise of bringing something into your life through the power of attraction and self-belief. Your thoughts, emotions, actions, and energy have the power to create your reality. It’s working with the universe to change your life. 

Essentially, you are a magnet and can attract anything you want. Whether you want to get a promotion, to go on a date, to meet a new like-minded friend - the sky's the limit.

How does manifesting work?

Manifestation can be an intimidating concept. But you need to absolutely believe in your own ability to manifest. You may be eager to see results but the universe doesn’t work that way. You need to be patient and you need to trust the universe has a plan for you.

Like with the Law of Attraction, manifestation is where your thoughts and your energy create your reality. If you are constantly thinking and feeling negative, then you are going to attract and manifest negative energy into your life. Therefore the first thing you need to do when manifesting is to assess your thoughts and feelings - are you feeling negative? Do your thoughts surround negativity? If so, you could begin to manifest things you don’t want in your reality. This is why it’s incredibly important to clear your mind and have a positive mind when you are wanting to manifest.

When you are trying to manifest something into your life, there are many signs that you should be looking out for from the universe in order to know that your manifestation is close. Some will be small signs, and others might be staring you right in the face, without you knowing.

How do I start manifesting?

Manifesting is a truly liberating, eye-opening, and fun experience that can ultimately change your life. As with most things in life, there are some do’s and don’ts to remember when manifesting. The most important factor is that you have to truly want it, deep in your heart of hearts, and you need to be specific when setting your manifestation goal. Being vague just won’t cut it. 

You need to ask the universe for what you want and start listening.

Once you are clear on your manifestation goal, you need to spend at least 10-15 minutes a day on your visualisation. Surround yourself with affirmations, objects, vision boards, that bring your dream to life. You need to take action and you need to trust the universe. This is when the magic begins to happen.
